If you happen to be in New York City in June, check out the 2011 National Scholastic Exhibition. You will see work from some of the best high school artists in the nation, from paintings and photography to Video Game Design. I went three years ago with one of my students and principal, and it was awesome. My student won Scholastic National American Visions Award for her digital painting, Looking for Answers.
